The 24th annual West Coast Jamboree

Presented by Visit Tri-Valley

Welcome to the Dave Jackson's West Coast Jamboree website.

The 2024 West Coast Jamboree will be Dec. 27, 28 and 30 in the East Bay area of the San Francisco Bay Area. We will accept a maximum of 136 girls' high school teams and place them in eight-team brackets (with a possibility of one four-team round-robin bracket). All teams will play three games, one game each day. Note that California does not allow games to be played on Sundays.

All participating teams that stay overnight must stay in a Host Hotel. Please use the Host Hotel tab to reserve your rooms. Due to the contributions from our Host Hotels, we are not only able to offer our annual West Coast Jamboree scholarships, which have resulted in more than $30,000 in awards to participating players, we can continue to support the host schools’ athletic programs. The West Coast Jamboree has contributed close to $1 million to high school athletic programs during its 23 years of operations.

For questions and/or assistance with Host Hotels, contact Harold Abend (marketingharoldabend@gmail.com).

Teams that are flying in to the Bay Area must be aware that they cannot schedule a flight out on the last day of the event (Dec. 30). The last game on that day could start as late as 8 p.m., making it impossible to get to the airport that night. Departing flights must be scheduled for the day after the tournament ends. Teams unable to play at scheduled times are liable for a minimum of $500 in additional fees to offset the cost of officials, lost gate income and host site expenses. In addition, reports may be sent to participating school administration, state association and National Federation of High Schools.

Submission of the application is explicit agreement to the above conditions.

Only 160 teams will be accepted into the Jamboree, so please fill out and submit the application as soon as possible. If you do not hear back from Jamboree staff within a week, please contact Clay Kallam at claykallam@gmail.com to make sure your registration was recorded.

Thanks for your interest, and we look forward to seeing you in December.

Host hotels

Please note that all teams staying overnight must stay in our Host Hotels.  The Host Hotels  support the Jamboree, its host schools and the scholarship program, and in turn, they require that teams that do use hotels choose one of the several options available.
